Russian 400 metre runner expelled for doping

Russia's 400 metre runner Anton Galkin has been expelled from the Olympic Games for failing a drugs test, the IOC said on Friday.

Galkin tested positive for the banned steroid stanozolol after competing in the 400 metre event in which he was fourth in a semi-final on August 21.
