Manchester United have signed Wimbledon's 16-year-old midfielder Lee Martin for an initial fee of 200,000 pounds, the Premier League champions said.
British media have reported that the fee could rise to one million pounds depending on how the player progresses at Old Trafford.

caught United manager Alex Ferguson's eye playing in the youth teams at Wimbledon, who are bottom of the first division and have been hit by financial problems.
Wimbledon moved to a new ground at Milton Keynes earlier this season and hope to come out of administration shortly.
