An interesting press note issued on Thursday by jailed Jaganmohan Reddy's YSR Congress party alleges that Central Bureau of Investigation Joint Director J D Laxminaryana was constantly in touch with a "mysterious woman" to spread anti-Jagan propaganda.

The note signed by the YSR Congress MLAs alleges that Laxminarayana had made around 400 calls to Vasi Reddy Chandrabala between the months of March and June this year.

The lady, in turn, has been in touch with members of the Telugu Desam Party and also some media houses considered being anti-Jagan, the note alleged.

The YSR Congress party made these allegations on the basis of the telephone conversations between the lady and the CBI joint director. They said they have the phone records but are unaware as to what exactly the conversation was.

They have also found calls made by Chandrabala to TDP leaders and some media houses.

YSR Congress suspects this could be a ploy on part of Laxminarayana and anti-Jagan groups to tarnish Jagan's image.

"We demand that the conversations be made public and also Laxminarayana give an explanation about these calls. An inquiry needs to be instituted immediately."

Further the YSR Congress has taken strong exception to the manner in which the CBI joint director has been speaking to the media on the cases against Jagan.
