Speaking to the media for the first time on the arrest of social activist Anna Hazare, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday told rediff.com that it would have been better if the Delhi police had not arrested Hazare.
"I would not say that it was a mistake or say it was not a mistake. But it would have been much better if it (arrest of Anna Hazare by Delhi police) would have been avoided. It is for them (Delhi police) to judge," said Dikshit.
The chief minister said that the Delhi police was the right authority to take action on the matter and she would not like to comment on it.
