Woman dies of swine flu in Hyderabad

Health officials have said that a woman died of swine flu in Hyderabad on Thursday.

According to the officials, 28-year-old Vani, a resident of Mehbubnagar district, died of Swine Flu at the city's Gandhi Hospital on Thursday morning.

This is the second Swine Flu-related death in less than a week in Andhra Pradesh. Officials said 17 such cases were under going treatment in different hospitals in the state.

Last week, 21-year-old Appanna died in Visakhapatanam.

The port city of Visakhapatanam has reported eight cases. The patients have been kept in an isolation ward and are undergoing treatment, state officials said.
