Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas was again at the centre of a controversy after a woman, who had filed a complaint against him in Delhi Commission for Women, approached the police accusing him of molesting her.

Vishwas strongly rejected the allegations, saying she had come back targeting him with “another script”.

A senior police officer said a complaint against Vishwas was received via post by Chanakyapuri police station and it has been forwarded to South District Police as the jurisdiction of the crime as alleged in the complaint did not fall under it.

The woman has alleged that Viswas molested her, police said without giving any more details.

“Again the same character, this time with a new story. There is a new drama everyday,” Vishwas tweeted rejecting the allegations.

A senior police official said no FIR has been registered in the case.

Earlier in May, the the woman, a party volunteer, had accused senior leader Kumar Vishwas of not rebutting ‘rumours’ about an illicit liason with her and ruining her reputation.

The Delhi Commission for Women had summoned Vishwas, considered close to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and his wife, asking them to appear before it after the volunteer approached it seeking its intervention in forcing the AAP leader to dispel the allegations.
