A core member of Team Anna and expert of food security, Devinder Sharma, told rediff.com that there is a debate going on within Team Anna whether the Gandhian should hold his proposed fast to press for a stringent Lokpal Bill from December 27 in Mumbai.
The fast was originally proposed to be held in New Delhi but since winter has set in and the climatic conditions are adverse, members are apprehensive whether they will be able to mobilise the middle-class and lower-middle class to support the movement.
Though no final decision has been made, members of Team Anna have began scouting for a suitable location and the process of obtaining permissions from local authorities has begun.
