Targetting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his ‘failure’ to bring back black money in 100 days after coming to power, former Bihar chief minister and senior Janata Dal-United leader Nitish Kumar on Thursday asked the former to explain to the people of country about when the amount of Rs 15 lakh would be deposited in every bank account as promised by him.

Modi logon ko batayen ke kab paisa milega aur kab har ek vyakti ke bank account mein paisa ayga,,” (Modi should inform people when black money will be recovered and when Rs 15 lakh will be deposited in every person’s bank account) Nitish said while addressing his party’s leaders and workers at Bettiah in West Champaran after launched his 17-day-long Sampark Yatra.

Modi aur Bharatiya Janata Party ke netaon ne 100 din mein black money lane ki baat kahin thi, lekin 150 din ke baad bhi kala dhan nahin aya hai,”( Modi and other BJP leaders had promised to bring back black money in 100 days but they failed to bring it even after 150 days) Nitish said.

Earlier, Nitish targetted Modi’s government by saying that the approach adopted by the government reflected the BJP’s black mindset and termed the party as 'Bhrasht Jhooti Party' (a liar and a corrupt party).

Nitish said that the BJP’s poison of hate worked during the Lok Sabha polls but now JD-U leaders and workers have to challenge and counter it. “The BJP succeeded to divide the society during the Lok Sabha polls,” he said.

Nitish said that in case of Bihar, Modi has not only forgotten his words, but his government is discriminating in providing funds meant for development and implementation of welfare schemes such as the Indira Awas Yojna, the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural and the Employment Guarantee Act.
