Did you know Sharad Arvind Bobde is a leftie?
The Chief Justice of India showed his southpaw batting skill during a cricket game between judges and advocates in his native Nagpur on Sunday, January 31.
The CJI scored 13 during his brief innings.
Batting first, the Judges XI scored 138 runs in the 20:20 overs game played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association stadium in Nagpur's Civil Lines area.
The Advocates XI passed the target set by the judges with three balls to spare.
CJI Bobde also bowled two overs, giving away 17 runs.
The CJI retires from the Supreme Court on April 23, the month when IPL 2021 is scheduled to begin, but with those kind of figures, we guess he won't be on the selection slate during the IPL players auction on February 18 :).
But with his clear affection for cricket, he could make an interesting addition to future IPL commentators's panels. Whatsay Star Sports?
