Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharam will be addressing the media at 1 pm.
Sitharaman is expected to announce an economic package to address the distress situation over the 21-day lockdown.
Economic measures may include easing pressure on common man. Prime Minister Modi had set up a task force headed by Sitharaman to take measures to battle the economic distress.
