On his fourth visit to the United States, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing a joint meeting of the US Congress -- the sixth Indian premier to do so. The last Indian prime minister to be accorded this honour was Dr Manmohan Singh in 2006.

Prime Minister Modi's speech, which began at 8.30 pm IST, is expected to celebrate India-US ties as the two countries seek to deepen their engagement.
