"We have already started sending food assistance through Agency for International Development. Our assistance should reach about 3,46,000 Pakistanis," she added.
"We are also sending shelter and non-food items through AID partners to reach about 5,500 families. And we are also providing medical services to reach about 500,000 Pakistanis," she said.
More than 200 people have been killed while over 500,000 affected by torrential rains in Pakistan.
