US Military jet crashes into apartment complex

Media reports have said that a United States Navy F/A-18 jet has crashed into a low-rise apartment complex in Virginia. The two pilots ejected before the crash.

Emergencency responders rushed to the crash site soon after the crash. According to eyewitness accounts, people were seen running out of the building after the impact.

No injuries have been reported so far. Two men were taken to a hospital, a fire department official said, one believed to be one of the pilots. There was no word on injuries, though they were said to be not life threatening.

The eastern coastal city of Virginia has a large concentration of military bases. This includesNaval Station Norfolk, the world's largest naval base.
