According to the US State Department, Congressional Budget Justification 2011, the US Office of Inspector General will set up this additional 'satellite' office in Islamabad.

The office in Islamabad will be in addition to a full-fledged facility of the Middle East Regional Office in Amman, Jordan.

Two temporary auditors, program analysts and one local person will be hired by the US for the office, The Dawn reports.

The audit team is also likely to investigate reports regarding the unfair use of funds, corruption and money wastage.
