Congress Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi, who campaigned extensively in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, on Wednesday blamed his party's lack of organisation in the state for its debacle in the elections even as he congratulated Chief Minister Mayawati on her victory.
"Basically, we don't have an organisation there and we have to build that," he told reporters in Delhi.
"It is a process that we are going to work at," Rahul Gandhi added.
The Amethi MP congratulated Mayawati on her victory and said, "As far as we are concerned, our fight carries on and we are going to sort of bring the Congress back in Uttar Pradesh."
