Within hours of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav's claim on Wednesday that Governor T V Rajeshwar had recommended dismissal of the state government, the Raj Bhavan categorically denied any report in this regard was sent to the Centre.
The denial was made in a statement issued to the media.
Earlier in the day, Mulayam said the state governor had recommended to the Centre the dismissal of the state government.
