About 200 children were taken seriously ill on Saturday after consuming contaminated food at Loharan village in the Sant Kabirnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, official sources said.
The children, aged between 3-12 years, complained of uneasiness after consuming the food. They were rushed to the primary health centre for treatment, they said.
The condition of the children is stated to be stable, sources said. They said the matter was being investigated.
