The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court on Wednesday restrained the Uttar Pradesh government from proceeding with investigations against Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav in connection with the cases registered against him for alleged misuse of the Chief Minister's Discretionary Fund.
It also restrained the government from arresting him in this regard till August 19.
