An abandoned bag created a bomb scare at the Bengaluru international airport on Thursday before police found it contained only a laptop.
Security personnel deployed at the airport went into a tizzy after the bag was noticed lying unclaimed and informed the airport police.
The bomb squad and sniffer dogs were immediately pressed into service but they found only a laptop inside the bag, police sources said.
It was later found that the bag had fallen down from the luggage trolley of a passenger who had arrived from Muscat and he had failed to notice it. He claimed the bag later.
