"The vehicle came under hostile fire either from across the Line of Control or from the militants
on this side. We are ascertaining the details of the incident," the spokesman told rediff.com. He said troops have surrounded the area and are conducting searches.

The army has been holding that with the opening of the mountain passes militants waiting on the launch pads across the LoC will try to sneak into this side. The army has been on a high alert and has so far foiled several attempts by militants to intrude into Jammu and Kashmir.
