2 Maoists with live cartridges held in Chhattisgarh

Two Naxals including a woman were arrested in Raipur with arms and ammunition including nearly 300 live cartridges, the police said.
The Maoists -- Anjali Chauhan, 35, and Mujeeb, 45, -- were held on Monday night after a tip off that arms were being brought to the city from naxal-infested Bastar region, Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police, Deepanshu Kabra told PTI.
An AK-47, a SLR and 270
cartridges were seized from the duo, he said.
While Mujeeb was apprehended from Ravanbhata area in the Tikarapara police limits, Anjali was held from Sarona railway station, police said.
Also, some Naxal literature and letters detailing the arms exchange, was recovered from them.
Both Naxals are members of Dandkaranya special zonal committee, Kabra added.
