Two Hizbul, LeT aides arrested in JK

Security personnel arrested two aides of banned terrorist organisations Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Tayiba in the Rajouri district on Saturday.

The duo was allegedly operating in the Thana Mandi region of the district.

Police authorities arrested the pair after investigating their alleged association with the militants.

"One of the arrested people is Abdul Salam, son of Abdul Rashid. He was in constant touch with militants and was working for them in Thana Mandi region. When we received a tip off about their presence, we investigated and their involvement with militants was established," said Farooq Qaisar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Operations.
