The Tehrike-e-Taliban of Pakistan has taken responsibility of the attack on Bannu police station killing in which at least 20 security personnel were killed on Monday.
In an email to rediff.com, TTP spokesperson Ihsanullah Ihsan said, "We the Mujahiddin of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claim responsibility of attacks on the police station in Bannu that killed around 20 security personnel."
Ihsan said, "We will continue our war until we throw out the filthy democratic system out, and implement Shariah in Pakistan."
