Train collision in West Bengal

A local passenger train collided head on with the Guwahati-Bengaluru Express at Jamirghata in West Bengal's Malda district on Sunday evening, Eastern Railway sources said.

The engine of the Express train derailed and fell on the opposite tracks, as it collided with the Ajimganj Passenger train.

Information about any casualty was not immediately available, the sources said.
