TN: Crackers explode at manufacturing unit, 9 killed

Nine people were on Friday killed and three injured after crackers exploded in a private fireworks manufacturing unit near Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, police said.

The workers were at work in the unit when the crackers burst.

The condition of two of the injured, who have been admitted to the local government hospital, is reportedly serious.
