Four persons, including three personnel of the Pakistan Air Force, were killed in an attack by unidentified armed men in the restive Balochistan province, according to media reports on Tuesday.
The gunmen, who were riding a motorcycle, fired indiscriminately at a group of PAF personnel at Pasni Bazar in Gwadar district on Monday.
Three PAF were killed instantly while another was injured, the media reports said.
The owner of a shop was also killed in the shooting.
The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police officials said the PAF personnel had not alerted police about their plan to visit the market.
Due to this, police could not provide adequate security to them, officials told the media.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Taliban, sectarian groups like the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Baloch nationalist insurgents are active in Balochistan.
