3 more cases of swine flu in Bengaluru

Three fresh cases of swine flu were reported in Bengaluru on Thursday morning. The toll of persons infected in Bengaluru has now gone up to five.

A 12-year-old boy who returned from the US and a man and a woman who travelled to Bangkok have tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

The three persons have been admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Heart Institute at Bangalore. Doctors told rediff.com that the three persons have been kept in
isolation are are undergoing treatment.

The three persons had come into Bangalore last week and were tested. The results which came in on Thursday morning suggested that the three persons were affected with the H1N1 virus.

The mother and daughter who were admitted earlier this week after testing positive for the H1N1 virus are reported to be showing good progress. The mother and daughter were quarantined after coming in from New Jersey and testing positive for the swine flu virus.
