Sukhvinder Singh, 24, was returning home after practice when he was shot dead on March 16 by two armed assailants in Rithal village of Rohtak.
The murder was, however, captured on a CCTV installed at a house near the crime spot.
In the footage, Sukhvinder can be seen walking along a road talking on his mobile phone when two men on a two-wheeler approach him from the opposite direction and shoot him down.
According to the parents of the deceased, Sukhvinder did not have personal enmity with anyone.
