The heat's just killing this summer!

A heat wave in India has already claimed more than 1,800 lives and the Met department has warned that the conditions will continue for two more days. The sweltering heat wave conditions has prevailed in several states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan

May and June are India's hottest months, with temperatures regularly pushing above 40 Celsius. But meteorologists say the number of days when temperatures approach 45 Celsius has increased in the past 15 years.
