Two special police officers and a constable were killed when terrorists attacked the state guard at the residence of a local political leader in north kashmir's Sopore town late on Tuesday evening.
The police said the terrorist fired at the police guard manning a bunker at the politician's residence.
"Two special police officers and a constable of the Jammu and Kashmir police dies on the spot," said a senior police officer adding the area had been surrounded.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
