Teji Bachchan, superstar Amitabh Bachchan's mother, admitted to the Leelavati hospital in Bandra on Tuesday, was discharged on Wednesday.
She was admitted to the hospital for investigations relating to complaints of lower back pain and intestinal infection.
"She was discharged this morning," a spokesperson for the hospital said.
Teji Bachchan, 86, was put through an MRI test and a test for the colon. The results were found to be normal, the spokesperson added.
