Sonia, Jayalalitha to meet at EC celebration

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Tamil Nadu opposition leader J Jayalalitha are likely to meet at Vigyan Bhavan on Monday, where both the leaders will be present at the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Election Commission.

Just before the arrival of President Prathibha Patil, when the guests wait the ante-room of the main hall of Vigyan Bhavan, a quiet meeting between Sonia and Jaya is being forecast, some interested parties are already working to this end.

Accepting the invitatation of Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawla, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader Jayalalitha will arrive in

Delhi on Sunday afternoon. Navin Chawla spoken to almost all leaders of national parties and regional parties inviting them for the event.

Chawla had specially requested Jayalalitha and persuaded her to arrive in Delhi. Jaya confirmed her presesnce at the event on Saturday An advance team of AIADMK members of Parliament and her assistants have arrived in Delhi to organise her visit. The former Tamil Nadu CM is expected to address the media on Monday.
