The Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday requested President Pratibha Patil not to visit the plant of Schreiber Dynamix Dairies Ltd in Baramati on June 9.
State BJP spokesman Madhav Bhandari said that the company was promoted by Vinod Goenka and Shahid Balwa, who are facing allegations in the 2G scam, and were arrested. Both are now on bail.
"Visit is for 15 minutes, and Patil should skip it," Bhandari said.
