Charges were framed against Union Coal Minister Shibu Soren on Thursday, in connection with the 1975 Chirrudih massacre.
The charges were framed in the presence of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief before Additional District Judge U N Mishra in Jamtara, Soren's counsel B N Majhi said.
Charges were framed against 27 accused in the case on January 18 under Sections of the Indian Penal Code.
