Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, her husband and former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, and others who have come under the investigators' scanner in the murky family saga on Friday faced day-long interrogation.
As the day ended, the Mukerjea couple, Indrani's former husband and co-accused Sanjeev Khanna, her former driver and another co-accused Shyamvar Rai and the victim Sheena's purported biological father Siddharth Das were still inside the police station.
Indrani and Sanjeev's daughter Vidhie, whom Peter has adopted, came to the police station for the first time and left in the evening after recording her statement.
On Thursday, the police had claimed that Indrani confessed to murdering Sheena and that they were probing the financial transactions of Indrani and Peter.

Peter Mukerjea, significantly, was summoned to the police station and questioned for the third consecutive day on Friday. On Thursday, he had been accompanied by his CA and carried documents and account books of his companies.
The police custody of Indrani, Sanjeev and driver Rai, the three accused in the case, would end on Saturday.
Peter Mukerjea reached the police station at 11.20 am on Friday to record his statement. Vidhie arrived half-an-hour later, while Siddharth Das, who claimed to be Sheena's biological father, reached at 12.30 pm.
The police had on Thursday recorded Das's statement too. He was flown to Mumbai from Kolkata last evening, and is understood to have been brought face-to-face with the accused.
His DNA sample too were collected for tests.
Mumbai police commissioner Rakesh Maria, who himself interrogated the accused for the first few days, was not seen at the Khar police station, where the interrogation is taking place, on Friday, while DCP Satyanarayan Choudhary was present.
According to the police, 24 years old Sheena Bora was murdered on April 24, 2012, and her body burnt and disposed of in the neighbouring Raigad district by Indrani, Khanna and Rai.
