Another FIR lodged against RJD MP Shahabuddin

Another FIR has been lodged against jailed Rashtriya Janata Dal member of Parliament, Mohammad Shahabuddin allegedly for abusing and threatening a jail official in Siwan jail, police sources said on Monday.

Ramadhar Singh, the jailor of Siwan jail where Shahabuddin is currently lodged, has filed an FIR against Shahabuddin for abusing, misbehaving and threatening him.

Siwan District Magistarate Vandana Preyasi has confirmed that a fresh case had been lodged against Shahabuddin.

Singh in his complaint said that Shahabuddin had sent him a letter to favour an official, when he refused to sign the letter, Shahabuddin abused and threatened him.

Siwan district officials have seized 37 mobile phones from the prisoners of Siwan jail including seven from Shahabuddin's ward during a raid on Sunday morning.
