Addressing an election rally in Pune on Tuesday night, Thackeray said the Shiv Sena had stopped fighting for the rights of Marathi man and it was the MNS which had taken up the cudgels to fight injustice, to which the 'Bhoomiputras' were subjected to.
Both the Congress-Nationalist Congress Party and the Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party saffron alliance had betrayed the voters and should be kept away from power in the ensuing assembly elections, he said.
Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi told reporters that MNS factor would prove to be inconsequential in the elections as the saffron alliance was confident of securing a majority in the polls.
