According to The Express Tribune, Kashmiri had called a meeting of several Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan commanders to create the 'Laskhar-e-Osama', which would be tasked with carrying out suicide bombings throughout Pakistan.
TTP commanders Asmatullah Maavia, Amjad Farooqui and Badar Mansoor had attended the meeting. The three commanders were assigned territories to conduct the bombings, the report said.
Kashmiri was killed in the drone strike that killed at least nine militants.
The chief of the HuJI, an organisation affiliated with Al-Qaeda, was widely believed to have masterminded the recent attack on the PNS Mehran naval base in Karachi.
Four to six Taliban terrorists had entered PNS Mehran on May 22, destroying two maritime surveillance aircraft and killing ten military personnel during their 17-hour siege of the naval air base.
