Europe's refugee crisis: Which country has accepted the most asylum applications?

The massive flood of refugees in Europe is pushing Germany to a tipping point.

The map above shows the number of asylum applications accepted and received by each country in Europe from January 2015 to June 2015. The data, taken from Eurostat, shows that from Germany received and accepted many more asylum applications than any other European nation in this time period. In fact, more than 17,500 migrants arrived in just the city of Munich over the weekend.
