Read what Muslims want from Narendra Modi and BJP
July 03, 2013

Dr Syed Zafar Mahmood, a known critic of Narendra Modi, on Saturday made a presentation touching upon various aspects of problems being faced by Muslims and the 2002 riots, in front of the Gujarat chief minister.

Mahmood made the presentation at the Young Indian Leaders conclave where Modi remained closeted for a day with 150 young participants, at an event organised by the Citizens of Accountable Governance. Out of the 150 participants, around 30 were from the minority community.

After the presentation, Modi told Mahmood, "It is very good you said all that and I'll consider it."

Since the interface between the Muslim community and Modi is keenly watched in the run-up to the 2014 general elections, we present Dr Mahmood’s presentation. Click here to know what Muslims expect from the BJP and Modi.
