Film director Madhur Bhandarkar, who has been booked by the police on charges of rape and issuing threats, following a complaint by a model-turned-actress, was granted interim bail till July 27 by a Mumbai court on Friday.
Principal Sessions Judge R R Vachha directed the police not to arrest Bhandarkar till July 27 when his anticipatory bail plea comes for hearing.
