A 50-year-old-woman was allegedly raped in a taxi near Chor Bazaar in south Mumbai early Tuesday.
Police in Mumbai said the accused Shyam Papa Kharwa (40) asked the victim, a vendor, to sit in the taxi at Chor Bazaar at around 0145 hours.
While the taxi was on the way to Bandra, Kharwa allegedly raped the woman.
The police has arrested the accused and a case has been registered against him.
