A woman was allegedly raped by her brother-in-law in a slum cluster in south Delhi, police sources said on Friday.
The woman, in her twenties, and her sister's husband Jewel who assaulted her hail from Jharkhand.
The accused was on the run and a hunt was on to nab him, the sources said.
The woman had complained to police that Jewel had criminally assaulted her last night when they were alone in their shanty in Zamroodnagar area near Greater Kailash.
She alleged that he had tried to attack her on earlier occasions too, the sources said.
