Expelled Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane on Saturday resigned from the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
Rane disclosed this to reporters at a press conference in Mumbai.
He had announced his decision to quit as Sena member in the assembly after meeting Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday amidst reports of his joining Congress.
