Non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued against controversial Uttar Pradesh Minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya, Samajwadi Party member of Parliament Akshay Pratap Singh and 25 others for failing to appear in court.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Satyanand Upadhyay issued the NBWs on Friday for the 27 people for failure to appear in court in three cases pending against them, court sources said on Saturday.
He has fixed November 17 as next date of hearing.
The cases pending include land grabbing and other criminal offences.
