Gujjar agitation: Western Railway cancels 5 trains

Railway traffic connecting Gujarat to northern India was affected for the second consecutive day today with five trains being cancelled by Western Railway due to the agitation by Gujjars in neighbouring Rajasthan.

The cancelled Dehli-bound trains are:

• 2957 Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express
• 2917 Sampark Kranti Express
• 9105 Hardwar-Delhi Mail from Ahmedabad to Hardwar
• 9265 Okha-Dehradun Express
• 4312 Ala Hazrat Express from Bhuj to Bareilly
