An earthquake of slight intensity was experienced in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday.
The quake, measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 1241 IST, the Met department said.
The quake was epicentred at 32.7 degree North latitude and 76.1 degree East longitude, the department said.
There was no report of any damage.
