Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance SAD-BJP) leader Parkash Singh Badal on Wednesday submitted the list of the alliance legislators to Punjab Governor Gen (Retd) S F Rodrigues to lay claim on forming the government in the state.
The signed list of legislators includes four independents who have extended support to the Badal-led alliance.
During the half-an-hour meeting with the Governor, Badal, who will be heading the government in Punjab for the fourth time, has requested the swearing-in ceremony to be held on March 2.
