Prakash Mahajan, brother of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, has been appointed Shiv Sena spokesperson and a deputy leader.
Mahajan has been appointed as spokesperson and 'upneta' (deputy leader), Sena sources said.
"The party has entrusted me with the responsibility and I will try to spread the party's message across the state," Mahajan told PTI.
After Pramod Mahajan's death, Prakash joined Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). He left MNS following differences with Raj last year, and joined the Shiv Sena.
