J-K, Haryana polls: BIG winners and losers

Counting for assembly polls in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir is underway.

Here's how some big names are faring.

Congress candidate and wrestler Vinesh Phogat wins from the Julana assembly seat in Haryana's Jind district by defeating BJP's Yogesh Kumar by 6,015 votes. 

Haryana Chief Minister and BJP candidate Nayab Singh Saini wins the Ladwa assembly seat by 16,054 votes.

National Conference leader Omar Abdullah wins from both seats -- in Budgam by 18,485 votes and in Ganderbal by 10,574 votes.

Senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda wins Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat in Haryana by 71,465 votes.

BJP leader Anil Vij is leading from Ambala Cantt by over 7,200 votes.

Afzal Guru's brother Aijaz Ahmad Guroo loses from Sopore. He got only 129 votes, less than NOTA.

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti's daughter Iltija Mufti loses from Srigufwara-Bijbehara by 9,770 votes.

Independent candidate and BJP's Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal's mother, Savitri Jindal, wins Hisar assembly seat in Haryana by 18,941 votes.

Haryana Lokhit Party leader Gopal Kanda loses Sirsa assembly seat to Congress's Gokul Setia by 7,234 votes. Kanda was backed by the BJP.

Congress candidate Aditya Surjewala, son of party general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala, wins Kaithal assembly seat by 8,124 votes.
